HandmadeNg is an exclusive and multi-vendor marketplace for Afrocentric fashion, gifts, and handmade accessories. All of our products are handcrafted by indigenous artisans from our Maker community.
We are all about using technology to enhance the exchange of value between the makers and the lovers of African goods. Our activities contribute to the local value chain as well as the SDG 8.
We are super excited for opportunities to serve the Handmade community both online and offline. Our flagship store is strategically located in the heart of Ajao Estate at the Lagos International Airport area.

- Subscribers and Non-Subscribers
- Vendors are required to pay a Subscription fee in order to operate an Online store on www.handmadeng.com Product uploads and other website management activities will be duly assisted by our staff. Fees are N30,000 (3 months) N55,000 (6 months); N100,000 (12 months).
- Vendors that do not wish to pay this upfront subscription fee may opt to be onboarded as Suppliers, having their approved products retained under the HandmadeNg brand.
- Subscribed Vendor products will be sold at a commission rate of 10-20%, while Supplier products will be sold at a commission rate of 30 – 40%. You will be required to provide your own price (what you get paid) as well as a Recommended Retail Price (RRP). The platform decides on the final selling price.
- Showroom Access and Display
- Subscribed vendors are entitled to display their products to Walk-in customer at our showroom; as well as our logistic services for their personal buying customers.
- Showroom access for Supplier products will be at our discretion.
- Original Products
- We only sell locally-made merchandise, including those with imported components that are assembled locally. If you do not make it by yourself or are not working directly with the Maker, then we cannot sell it.
- Product Photos
- Please ensure high resolution product photos with a clean, uncluttered background.
- Uploaded image sizes must not exceed 500kb
- Plagiarized photos are not allowed. If you did not make the photographed product, then we cannot publish it.
- Order Fulfilment
- Once you receive notification of a product order, said products are to be dropped off at our Office in three days or less. This applies unless a longer production period was indicated on the product page. Bulk orders are exempted from this timing.
